TV

When we got the boat, it had a very small TV installed above the small table on the starboard side. It did not work, and was too small anyway, but at least there was already a standard VESA mount in place.

We found that a 28″ flat-screen fits nicely in the same space, and draws very little power. Right now we only use it when on shore power, but it should be fine once we install a small inverter.

The model we got has Roku software built in, so it should be able to stream directly if we can ever get the marina WiFi working. For now, I use my Surface tablet to play DVDs on the TV.

The mount allows the TV to swivel, but when underway, we use bungees to hold it secure.
