When sleeping in the V-berth, it can get pretty stuffy, so we like to open the hatch a bit. But the struts don’t do a good job of holding it open just a little bit.
I had some extra blocks of plastic that I had picked up from the scrap bin at ePlastics. I shaped then into block. One blocs fits over the hatch frame and hold it open just a little bit. Then I made another block with a dowel that can be inserted in two different places that allows it to attach to the first block and provide two other size openings.
