The previous owners had not taken very good care of the salon floor, and it looked pretty bad. We bought a carpet runner from Amazon which worked nicely to cover it up. It also is nicer on bare feet with more cushion and traction.
The 22″ version works perfectly for most of the length, but it just a bit too wide where the passage narrows across from the head. There it folds up just a bit against the starboard side, but we thought that was better than stopping short.
